Hourly wage to annual salary

Multiply your hourly rate by your hours per week and by 52. Then subtract tax to see what you'll actually keep.

The formula

Annual salary = hourly rate × hours per week × 52. At 40 hours a week that's 2,080 hours a year, so $25 an hour is $52,000. In the UK a full-time week is often 37.5 hours (1,950 hours a year).

For monthly pay, divide the annual figure by 12, not by 4: a month averages 4.33 weeks.
